School Hours

Gate Times

• Morning: gates are opened by 8:30am and closed at 9:10am.
• Afternoon: gates are opened at 2:55pm and closed at 3:10pm.
• The Administration Block gate is open throughout school day.
• Children need to be at school by 8.50am each morning.

Afternoon Dismissal

• School finishes at 3.00pm. The children are dismissed and walk to the gates - back (Maddecks Avenue) or front (McKay Avenue).
• Teaching staff supervise back and front gate dismissal.
• Please collect your children at these exits and not in the school grounds or at the classroom. A responsible person is expected to collect each child at 3:00pm, especially for the first week, and after that for as long as is necessary. To avoid any unnecessary distress for your child, please be punctual.
• Students who haven't been collected will be sent to the office where they will stay while we contact you. Make sure that your child and teacher are fully aware of any routine changes.
• Children should know never to go home with strangers.
