Year One's Trip to Symbio Wildlife Park

by Year One Students

stage 1 patting a lizard ar Symbio.

First, we saw an Australian devil. We saw lizards, tigers and crocodiles. We saw a blue-tongued lizard and I patted it. Its skin felt rough. Next, we got to see goats and fed them grass. We saw some frogs and snakes. We got to pat kangaroos and joeys. Some were lying down on the grass and some were jumping on the footpath. – Andrew

First, there were lots of animals and creatures. It’s cool and there are lions and tigers. Those are my favourite animals. Secondly, I learn that you cannot pet the animals. Lastly, please do not run off. It can be very dangerous, and you can get lost. – Roxy

I was happy at the trip to Symbio Wildlife Park.  I saw fast meerkats, sleepy koalas and cool goats.  – Darcy

Stage 3 Canberra Excursion

In Term 3, Stage 3 students went on a school trip to Canberra for two nights and three days. We visited many exciting places such as the old and new Parliament House, Questacon, and the Art Gallery.

The highlight of the trip was spending a whole day playing in the snow. We made snowballs, built snowmen, and rolled down snowy hills. Being in Canberra was a lot of fun, and we all wished we could have stayed longer!
